Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition
- Preliminary Contest
The Chinese Bridge Proficiency Competition is open to students in grades 2-12 who are non-native Chinese speakers within the judiciary areas of the Los Angeles Chinese Consulate General, including Southern California, Arizona, Hawaii, New Mexico and American Pacific islands.
The subjects include Chinese language proficiency, knowledge of China, Chinese history, culture, and customs.

The following programs and events are held annually, beginning with the very fun celebrations of the Chinese New Year.

Chinese New Year Celebrations
We co-host Chinese New Year performances in Balboa Park, SeaWorld, Downtown, and Confucius Classroom Schools.
March - MAY
Chinese Teachers Training Workshop Series
JUNE - August
China Program
for Confucius Classroom School students and families.
Cultural Immersion Trips
for U.S. high school students and educators.
September - DECEMBER
Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition
Final competition for foreign secondary school students.
